If ordinary sleep masks feel tight, or you do not want weighted beads sitting over your eyes, Sleepfolio gives you another option. The oversized shape rests loosely across your face, with most of the weight sitting higher on your forehead and the long sides draping onto your pillow.

A different place for the weight

Many weighted masks place their filling over the eyes. Sleepfolio places the weighted sections mainly across your forehead and temples instead. The mask continues over your eyes with a soft, unweighted padding.

It rests in place instead of fastening in place

There is no elastic or velcro holding the mask to your head. Lie down first, place the mask across your forehead and eyes, and let the sides rest beside your face or on the pillow.

That loose fit is the point for people who dislike straps. It also means the mask can shift if you turn. Some customers wear it through the night; others use it mainly while falling asleep or resting.

What 500g actually feels like

The insert weighs approximately 500g as a whole. You will not feel all of that weight on your forehead because part of the mask rests on the pillow and beside your head.

Some customers describe the pressure as just right. Others expected a firmer feel. Choose this mask for broad, distributed weight rather than strong pressure concentrated in one small area.

The cover comes off

Remove the outer cover when it needs washing and care for it separately from the insert. This keeps everyday cleaning simpler and lets you change the colour or keep a spare ready.

How to use it

Choose it for the loose fit

Sleepfolio may suit you if you dislike straps, enjoy some weight across your forehead or prefer a large area of coverage.
A conventional strapped mask may suit you better if your priority is a fixed fit through the night, guaranteed blackout around every face shape, or firm pressure concentrated over the eyes.

FAQ

Is there weight over my eyes

There are no weighted beads in the section over your eyes. The weight is focused mainly across your forehead. The cover and insert still touch the eye area, so adjust or remove the mask if the position feels uncomfortable.

Will it stay on all night

It may stay in place for some sleepers, but it is not secured to your head. It can shift when you turn. If you need a mask that stays fastened through the night, choose a strapped design.

Can I sleep on my side

Yes. Position the mask so part of its length rests on the pillow beside your face. The fit depends on your pillow, face and sleeping position, and you may need to readjust it after turning.

Does it provide complete blackout

The oversized shape covers a broad area around your eyes. Light blocking still depends on the fit around your nose and the position of the mask, so complete blackout is not guaranteed for every face.

Can I wash it

Removable bamboo cover: Hand wash or machine wash cold on gentle cycle, and air dry. Avoid fabric softener, bleach and the dryer.

Weighted mask insert: Not intended for machine washing. Wipe with a damp cloth. For deep cleaning, hand wash and allow it to air dry.

Is 500g a strong weight

The full insert weighs approximately 500g, but the weight is spread across the mask and some of it rests on your pillow. The sensation is broad and distributed rather than firm and concentrated.

Can I wear it while sitting up

The mask is designed for lying down. Without a strap, it will not stay against your face while you sit upright.
